Reservations
How can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be primarily made through the online booking system on this website. Personal assistance is also available via WhatsApp or LINE.
Are there any requirements regarding driver's license and driving experience?
You need either an International Driving Permit issued under the Convention on Road Traffic of Sep. 19, 1949 by Geneva Convention countries, or a Japanese driver's license. Some car models require a minimum number of years of driving experience. Please check the specific requirements for each model on our website. Drivers from the following countries/regions may drive in Japan with their original licence accompanied by an official JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) translation, without needing an International Driving Permit: Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Taiwan, Monaco, Estonia, Slovenia.
How can I change or cancel a booking?
Log in to your account and visit "My Bookings" to cancel a reservation yourself. To change dates or vehicle, please contact us via WhatsApp or LINE.
How do I know if my booking is confirmed?
Once payment is completed, you will immediately receive a confirmation email. You can view the rental contract and booking status anytime from "My Bookings".
Payment
When should payment be made?
The total rental fee must be paid before the pickup date to confirm your booking. Additional charges, such as toll fees on the ETC card, must be paid in cash or via bank transfer when returning the rental car.
How do I pay for the rental fee?
Payment is primarily made by credit card via Stripe at the time of booking. If bank transfer is required, please contact us (GMO Aozora Net Bank).
During Rental
What documents are required when renting a car?
For foreigners: (1) Valid international driving license, (2) Home country's driving license, (3) Passport. For residents of Japan: (1) Valid driving license, (2) Identity document (e.g. resident card, My Number Card, etc.) Drivers from the following countries/regions may drive in Japan with their original licence accompanied by an official JAF (Japan Automobile Federation) translation, without needing an International Driving Permit: Switzerland, Germany, France, Belgium, Taiwan, Monaco, Estonia, Slovenia.
Can the rental time be extended?
Extensions can be requested via WhatsApp or LINE. Whether the extension is granted depends on whether the vehicle is still available at that time.
When and where can I pickup the car?
You can pickup the car from 08:00 to 20:00 at our office.
Can I pickup earlier or choose another location to pickup the car?
When booking online, you may select pickup/return times outside business hours, or alternative pickup/return locations. However, such arrangements depend on staff and vehicle availability on the day; we will reconfirm with you when processing the booking. An additional fee may apply for special arrangements.

Can the rental period be extended?
Extensions can be requested via WhatsApp or LINE. Whether the extension is granted depends on whether the vehicle is still available at that time.
What do I need to do before returning the car?
Before returning the car, please ensure that you have: (1) Refilled the fuel to a full tank at the designated gas station near our company. (2) Cleaned the car to restore it to its original condition. (3) Paid all fines for traffic violations (if any). Extra charges will be imposed if you fail to complete these tasks.
Insurance / Accident
What should I do when an accident occurs with the car?
When an accident occurs: Provide aid to the injured, move the vehicle out of the way, set up warning lights. If anyone is injured call 119. Call the police at 110 to report the accident. Do not settle claims yourself. Notify our staff immediately.
What insurance benefits are included?
The basic insurance covers bodily injury, property damage, vehicle damage and personal accident. Deductibles and coverage limits vary by vehicle — please refer to each vehicle's detail page for specifics.
What should I do if I received a traffic violation ticket?
Go to the police station shown on the sticker and pay the fines. If you fail to complete the above procedures before returning the car, a penalty fee of ¥30,000 will be charged in addition to any fines.
Additional Options
Is the car equipped with an ETC onboard device?
All cars are equipped with a built-in ETC onboard device. You can either use your own ETC card or borrow one from our company at no extra charge.
Is a car navigation system available?
All our rental cars, except for trikes, are equipped with car navigation systems.
Can I reserve a non-smoking car?
All rental vehicles are strictly non-smoking. Violations will be charged a cleaning/penalty fee of no less than ¥100,000, with the actual amount determined case-by-case.

All refunds are subject to a service charge of 4% of the total amount.
When the cancellation is on us — vehicle becomes unavailable, or another customer completes a booking for the same dates first — you receive a 100% refund with NO processing fee.
^ If the cancellation request is made outside of our opening hours, it will be considered a next-day cancellation.
